Maximizer Software is a Canadian company that develops and markets customer relationship management CRM software for mobile devices, online, and desktops. History
The Maximizer product line began as “personal information management” (PIM) and “contact management” software. Maximizer offers CRM software—software that manages customer information for sales, marketing, and customer service. Major company milestones are:
- 1995 – Multiactive Software acquires the Maximizer product line from Modatech Systems Inc.
- 1997 – Multiactive acquires Tracker Software (Australia) Pty Ltd.
- 1998 – The company acquires Cognitech’s Sharkware software to expand in the U.S. market'
- 1999 – Multiactive completes an initial public offering (IPO) that raises $13 million.
- 2000 – Multiactive acquires majority shares of Hong Kong-based ABC Data & Telecom Ltd.
- 2001 – The Hong Kong subsidiary, Multiactive Software, completes an IPO that raises $13.3 million.
- 2002 – To focus on CRM for small and medium businesses and leverage brand awareness, changes its name to Maximizer Software.
- 2005 – Microsoft gives Maximizer Software Gold Certification.
- 2006 – The company announces strong revenue growth and its third consecutive year of profitability.
- 2007 – The company launches the latest version of its software, Maximizer CRM 10, which unifies its four editions and adds Mobile CRM for BlackBerry to focus on the growing Mobile CRM market.
- 2008 – Maximizer announces record revenue for fiscal 2007 and launches the products New Brand and Corporate Focus on Mobile CRM.
- 2009 – The company reaches 2,000 customers for its Mobile CRM products.
- 2010 – The company launches Maximizer CRM Version 11, with a new GUI (graphical user interface).
- 2011 – Maximizer launches Maximizer CRM Live, a cloud-based CRM product that offers more deployment options.
- 2011 – The company launches Maximizer CRM 12, with enhanced Web access and new Mobile Access user interface optimized for newer smart phones.
