Maxence Cyrin is a French pianist and composer living in Paris..

The beginning

Throughout his childhood, Maxence Cyrin learnt classical piano at the conservatory. Adolescents, new-wave and techno music open new horizons, and then he recorded his first musical models. He began subsequently to make recordings with independent electro labels.[1] few years later, he recorded a LP of compositions for piano entitled "Instants", with Sine Terra Firma, future record label of Yann Tiersen.

From pop to classical music

In 2005, he got his first real record entitled Modern Rhapsodies on FCom, the label founded by DJ Laurent Garnier, in which he arranged for solo piano tracks from Massive Attack, Depeche Mode, Moby and Aphex Twin. At this point, it is his first real success, and his performances took him all over the world. At the same time he composed scores for silent movies, as « Coeur Fidèle » of Jean Epstein (1923).

In 2009, his second album Novö Piano is released with Kwaidan Records, produced by Marc Collin of Nouvelle Vague. There are cover songs of The Pixies, Nirvana, Daft Punk, or MGMT.[2] The music video "Where is my mind" has been viewed almost four million times on Youtube (2014 viewing figures).

In 2012, the album "The Fantasist" with the record label EOS records. It is, at the same time, a musical self-portrait and an imaginary movie soundtrack .[3][4]

In 2014, he signed with the new classical record label Evidence Classics, founded by the famous sound engineer Nicolas Bartholomée (Aparté). And therefore, In 2015, he released the album "Nocturnes", a collection of ten compositions for solo piano, intimate, romantic and elegant

Maxence Cyrin is preparing a new album entitled Novö Piano 2 which will be available in the fall of 2015.

About Fashion

He is regularly involved in world of fashion, composing and playing music for fashion shows as Chanel, Lanvin, Valentino, Margiela, Hermès... and has participated in projects in the contemporary art world.
