In addition, he played Billy in one episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody on Disney Channel, and was the voice of Samsquatch in Random! Cartoons. He appeared in the TV series In Treatment and Love for Rent, and played the role of Duncan in the Grey's Anatomy episode "Brave New World". He also played a kid in an airport in The O.C..[3]
Burkholder has lent his voice for several shows. He voiced Chomper in The Land Before Time television series based on film series of the same name. For Burkholder's role as Max Braverman on Parenthood, executive producer Jason Katims said, consultant Wayne Tashjian, a behavioral psychologist, looks at the script and meets with Burkholder and his mother about those scenes involving the Max character. Burkholder and his mother then practice the scenes by themselves. For special scenes, the show employs a second consultant to ensure accuracy.[4]
