Mauldin High School in Mauldin, South Carolina, United States, was established in 1927. With an enrollment of 2164 in the 2009-2010 school year, it is the largest high school in the Greenville County School District. Its rivals are the Hillcrest High School Rams, and its mascot is a Maverick.

Sports
The school has won state championships in sport. The Mavericks have won three state championships in baseball (1993, 2000, and 2004).
In 2007 the girls cross country team won state for the third time in a row.
In 2009 the girls soccer team won the AAAA State Championship.
In 2010, the Varsity girls softball team won AAAA State Championships for the first time in 28 years.
In Fall of 2010 the Varsity Girls Tennis team won AAAA State Championship.
In Fall of 2010 the Varsity Cheerleading team won AAAA State Championship.
Speech and debate
In 2008, the Speech and Debate team claimed the state championship for the fourth consecutive year and had three national qualifiers. In 2009, they claimed their 5th consecutive 4A Championship, and had 5 members qualify to the National Tournament in Alabama. In 2010, they had 2 national qualifiers. In 2011, 5 members represented the school nationally in Dallas. In 2012, the last national qualifier to date, Suefie Moghaddassi, competing in the event Original Oratory, represented Mauldin in Indianapolis.
Band
In January 2011 the band went to New Orleans to play at the Sugar Bowl and compete against 19 other bands from across the nation, and won Grand Champions.
Robotics
In 2004 Mauldin High School formed its first ever FIRST Robotics team known as Golden Strip Robotics Team 1319. The team included students from all over Greenville county but was hosted by Mauldin. The team originally named for the Golden Strip area eventually became known simply as Flash 1319. The team has won numerous awards including several regional titles and a national division title in 2007. The team offers students the opportunity to pursue STEM education after school. The students have 6 weeks to design, build, and test a custom 120 lb robot to compete in a specific game for that year. They then compete with teams across the world.[1]
