Maude Gabrielle Harcheb (born in Cannes on 1 July 1987) mostly known by her mononymous name Maude is a French singer and dancer who took part in season 5 of the popular French reality television series Les Anges de la téléréalité broadcast on NRJ 12 channel.

Life and career

Originally kabyle and Sicilian, she studied in literature. Since the age of 4, she devoted herself to her first passion: dance. She took early during ballet and modern jazz. Very quickly, her artistic passion turned to singing. At 16, she started to take classes to improve its accuracy and closer to her dream of becoming a singer. She then entered music school. Her father is a guitarist. In March 2013 she appeared on Les Anges de la téléréalité. The principle of this program, aired since 2011 on NRJ 12, is to give a second chance to former participants of reality TV shows. Maude had never appeared in Big Brother or other Île de la Tentation, she is presented as an "anonymous angel." As each of these recovered celebrity, Maude pursues an aim that the program should help to achieve. For her, it's a hit record in the United States. Season five occurring in Fort Lauderdale (Florida), her wish seems easy to fulfill. This season five is marked by the appearance of Nabilla Benattia, who instantly became famous with her sentence "Non mais Allo Quoi?". Maude is not left out and pulls out of the game with her song "Love Is What You Make of It." This pop title, that suits the voice of Maude, was released as a single on 16 April 2013. Success was immediate and "Love Is What You Make of It" is number one French sales on 21 April and that proved to be the most popular release of the program in its 5 season track record.

After she performed the song on the show, the site Mytvrealite offered viewers downloading the track a few days prior to official release. The song was produced and written by Richard Zahniser and Tommy Hubbard. The single topped the SNEP official download charts and the iTunes download charts in France. Taking account actual physical sales, the single reached number 3 in SNEP, the official French Singles Chart. The single also made it to the Top 20 in Belgium (French markets), the Swiss French charts, and appeared in charts in Bulgaria, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka, amongst others.

In July 2013, in a special program titled Les Anges de la Téléréalité 5: Les Retrouvailles, it was announced that Maude would return to the United States to record a full studio album based on the success of the song. Her second single "Love not money" was featured in the French Top 20, which allowed her to be nominated as "Révélation francophone de l'année" for the NRJ Music Awards 2014. In 2014 Maude returned with "Cool". For the third single, Maude returns to the team that gave her his first hit and co-wrote the text.

In March 2014, Maude appeared in Trumpets, featuring Jason Derulo, which was widely broadcast in France. In June 2014, Maude released her new single "Rise Up".

Her first album "#HoldUp" was released on 1 September. She worked on it with producers such as L'aura Mariciano (who also worked with the singer Tal), The City or still Skalpovich.
