Matthias Bruen
Matthias Bruen was a reverend in New York.[1] His daughter, Frances Davenport Bruen, married Charles Callahan Perkins on June 12, 1855. Thomas Crawford did a sculpture of Bruen. He bought Proprietary House at a sheriff's sale in 1817. While he lived there he became one of the wealthiest men in America. His descendants made large contributions to America's social and political history.
