Matthew McCauley (producer)
Matthew McCauley (born 1954 in Ottawa, Ontario) is an Emmy Award winning composer[1] and record producer, based in Los Angeles. Matthew produced Dan Hill's 1977 hit song Sometimes When We Touch.
Matthew McCauley is active in several sciences and is the cofounder of Ancient Egypt Research Associates[2] which is based at the Harvard Semitic Museum.
Established in 1985, AERA carries out excavations and digital mapping at the Giza Plateau, near Cairo.
His great grandfather and namesake, Matthew McCauley, was the first mayor of Edmonton, Alberta (1892)[3] and a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1905 to 1909. Matthew's grandfather, Leslie McFarlane, was the author of the first nineteen Hardy Boys books.
