Matthew Long (born 27 June 1975) is an Olympic-level rower, who competes for Australia.[1]
Long attended Newington College[2] and coached by Olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian Michael Morgan. He rowed in three NSW Head of the River crews, twice being successful in the 1st Eights race.[3]
In 2000 he teamed up with James Tomkins and won a gold medal in the coxless pair at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
