Matthew "Matt" Henshaw (born 10 September 1987) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter.[1] He first emerged in 2010 as a soul singer collaborating with numerous artists, cited as the NME Breakthrough Artist[2] and compared to Smokey Robinson, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye and Al Green.[3] He has often cited his influences to be the likes of Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Steve Marriott and Steve Winwood.[4]

He was used as part of a LinkedIn marketing campaign through the summer of 2014.[5][6]

Henshaw played a number of festivals[7][8][9] and toured throughout the UK[10][11] in 2014 self-releasing 3 EPs.[12][13][14]

He started 2015 by touring France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.[15][16][17][18]
