Sekhar was an Indian film actor in Tamil film industry. He has acted about 30 films and he was introduced to Tamil cinema as a child artist. He was famous for his child performance in many movies and so called as Master Sekhar.[2] He has played MGR's character as a child in films including Idhaya Veenai and Kudiyirundha Koyil. He is the son of Vijayan who was the cinematographer.[2] He performed in some of the TV serials too.

Death
He fell down from the second floor after he supervising the work. He sustained serious injuries on the head and died. He is survived by his wife and two children.[2]
