Massimo Dutti (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈmasimo ˈðuti]) is a Spanish company belonging to the Inditex group dedicated to the manufacturing of clothing. It was created in 1985 and its product range was limited to men's clothing. In 1992, Women's fashion was launched from the most urban and trendy lines to more casual. The brand has consolidated at all levels as a group with national and international growth. Today the company employs over 4000 people internationally. In 2003, the company launched a children's line under the trade name Massimo Dutti Boys and Girls. These lines are being implemented internationally within stores that have ample room to house the space.[1]

Since 2006, Massimo Dutti has been fully designing and marketing the following lines: Women: Women's wear, Accessories, Soft, Fragrances Men: Men's wear, Accessories, Soft, Personal Tailoring, Fragrances

In 1991 Inditex acquired 65% of the shares of the company before acquiring it fully. The company has diversified its supply and offers clothes for women and children, as well as perfumes. It has 682 stores (229 in Spain) in 66 countries.

The offices of Massimo Dutti are located in Barcelona, Spain, unlike Inditex which is located in Arteixo, Galicia, Spain.

Massimo Dutti fragrances are marketed by Puig Company.[2]

"Massimo Dutti" is not a fashion designer, nor a real person, but a trade mark. Despite the Italian name, it is a wholly Spanish company.
