Massilia jejuensis is a gram negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, motile bacterium with single flagellum from the genus of Massilia and the family of Oxalobacteraceae which was isolated with Naxibacter suwonensis together from air samples in the Jeju Island and Suwon region of Korea.[3] Colonies of M. jejuensis are light orange.[4]
Etymology
M. jejuensis comes from the name "Jeju Island" where this type strain was found.[5]
