Rapper Maskiri has been throwing jabs at Stunner lately, talking reckless to the Godo hit maker with statements like "Ndinopindira Shark mumvura, mvura ikaita seye mugeyser.[2] Ndauya kuzonetsa." However Stunner (real name Desmond Chideme) laughed it off saying Maskiri is "just being a hater" and told Greedy to Check out maskiri's new album . "Hanzi ndinodya mashark (Laughs). In the mean time the sharks will be getting ready kupfeka dehwe reshumba!!!" he continued "Chachaya!" "Mabharanzi akawanda kupfura vanhu so I'm not moved nevanhu vanovenga staira." Stunner, whose Curriculum Vitae is longer than Bob's said Maskiri doesn't even have enough stamps on his passport to mess with him for starters. "HBO, MTV ,6 awards and 4 nominees, endless hits , have never been stranded in any town or country, cooperate sponsorship and more over handiimbire crate redoro." "Have no fear Sharks, we leeeeeeaaad". Stunner also issued this statement to his fans "Long time tisina kumixer... To those following the track sele from the mix tape album ndauraya Munhu, it is now on position 6 on MTV Base . Thank you for supporting!!!!! We lead."In another controversial incident Maskiri also stole mangoes and bananas at a famous Harare market place Mbare Musika in 2008 during the hyper-inflation that hit through Zimbabwe, but the rapper has denied the allegations.
