Mashhur bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (born 1942) is a senior prince in the House of Saud and a member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Allegiance Council.[1]
Biography
Prince Mashhur was born in 1942. His father is King Abdulaziz. His mother is Nuf bint Nawwaf bin Nuri Al Shaalan.[2] They married in November 1935.[3] Prince Mashhur has two full brothers; late Prince Thamir and Prince Mamdouh.[2][4]
In August 2009, the Washington Institute for Near East Policy identified him as a potential successor to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.[4]
