Mary Moore (pitcher)
Mary Moore was a pitcher who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She was born in California.[1]
Little is known about this player who appeared in eight games for the 1948 Rockford Peaches champion team. Mary Moore posted a 2-3 pitching record and batted an average of .222 (4-for-18).[2]
Moore was not located after leaving the league in 1948. She died in 1986.[1]
Two years after her death, Moore became part of Women in Baseball, a permanent display based at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York, which was unveiled to honor the entire All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
