Mary Margaret Haugen was a Washington state senator and chairwoman of the Senate Transportation Committee. She served as Washington's 10th district as a state senator from 1993 to 2012.
From 1982–1992, Haugen served in the Washington House of Representatives. Before that, she served three terms as a member of the Stanwood School Board.
Haugen is married and lives on Camano Island. She was a Democrat.
2012 Election
In the 2012 race for her State Senate seat, Haugen lost by 5% to Republican Barbara Bailey. [1]
