Mary Cyrene Burch Breckinridge (August 16, 1826 – October 8, 1907), the daughter of Clifton Rhodes Burch and Alethia Viley, was born in Georgetown, Scott County, Kentucky, in 1826. After a brief courtship, she was married on December 12, 1843 to John Cabell Breckinridge, and with him eventually had five children, including Arkansas Congressman Clifton R. Breckinridge. Mary Breckinridge was widowed in 1875, and died on October 8, 1907 in Buffalo, New York, aged 81.[1][2][3]
