Marshal Scotty's Playland Park is a mostly abandoned theme park located in Lakeside, California, off of the Interstate 8 on Lake Jennings Park Road. The park itself contained multiple attractions, such as a railroad, a 20-foot Ferris wheel, a water slide, a small roller coaster, and a Tilt-a-whirl ride.
All that is left of the park now is the Ferris wheel, roller coaster, and water slide. The remaining attractions have been sold. In November 2011 local residents Rudy and Carrie Ludeke reopened go-kart track as Canyon Raceway.[1] The future of the rest of the park is unknown at present.[2]
