The maroon-backed whistler (Coracornis raveni) is a species of bird in the Pachycephalidae family.[1] It was monotypic within the genus Coracornis,[2] but has since been joined by the Sangihe shrikethrush.[3] It is endemic to Indonesia.[1] Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.[4]
