Marmo is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow.[1] The title is Italian for marble, and the album is dedicated to Italian marble – particularly Venetian. The tracks are named after Leo Lionni's La botanica parallela (The parallel botany), a book of fantasy plants.[2] The CD comes in a folded marbled-effect paper sleeve with gold lettering.
