Marko Ćetković (Cyrillic; Mapкo Ћeткoвић, born 10 July 1986 in Podgorica) is a Montenegrin footballer.
Ćetković is the nephew of the famous Montenegrin footballer, Predrag Mijatović, and brother of Đorđije Ćetković.
Club career
Ćetković began his career with FK Crvena Stijena before he joined FK Zeta Golubovac in 2006. He played for FK Zeta Golubovac against Glasgow Rangers.[1]
Partizan
In July 2007, Ćetković made a €300,000 transfer to Serbian giants FK Partizan, where he played just eight games (6 in Serbian Superliga and 2 Champions League Qualification). He would later tell a Serbian journalist that "Partizan was a mistake" in his career.[2]
Mogren
In August 2008, Ćetković signed for FK Mogren.[3]
Jagiellonia
In July 2011, he joined Polish team Jagiellonia Białystok on three year contract.[4] He spent two half-seasons out on loan; first in Thailand with Buriram United F.C. and then with Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Overall, Ćetković played a total of 19 league games for Jagiellonia.
Budućnost
After spending two seasons in Poland, Ćetković returned to his homeland and signed for FK Budućnost Podgorica in July 2013.[5] He started his 2013-14 season scoring three goals in 13 games for Budućnost.
International career
Ćetković's first international appearance was for Serbia and Montenegro U17, after which he played for Montenegro U21[6] on seven occasions from when Montenegro declared independence from Serbia. On November 17, 2013, he scored his first goal for the Montenegrin national team in a friendly against Luxembourg.[7]
