Mark Wright (born 20 January 1987) is an English television presenter, television personality, radio host,[2] and an original cast member of The Only Way Is Essex. On 23 October 2011, Wright announced that he would be leaving the show at the end of the third series. He made a cameo appearance in the sixth series and returned for the 2012 Christmas special and made a brief appearance in 2014.

Before his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex, Wright was a semi-professional footballer, with a youth career at Tottenham Hotspur. In January 2012, it was reported that he rekindled his semi-professional footballing career, by signing for St Neots Town, but this was denied by Wright on his Twitter account.[5]
Television
Since 8 January 2012, Wright and Laura Jackson have co-presented Take Me Out spin-off programme Take Me Out: The Gossip for ITV2.[6]
On 9 January 2012, Wright became appeared on ITV Breakfast programme Daybreak for a two week stint.[7]
From 20 June to 7 July 2012, Wright presented and starred in a new ITV2 show titled Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights. ITV2 agreed with viewers that the show was not compelling viewing. It was dropped. [8] Wright was due to co-present a new entertainment series with Melanie Sykes named My Man Can. After filming one series, ITV made the decision not to air the show.[9]
On 26 February 2014, Wright fronted his own ITV2 reality show entitled Party Wright Around The World.
Since 2013, Wright has been a reporter on the ITV series Surprise Surprise.
I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
On 13 November 2011, Wright appeared on eleventh series of ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and was runner up to McFly's Dougie Poynter in the public vote.[10][11]
Strictly Come Dancing
From September 2014, Wright competed in the twelfth series of Strictly Come Dancing paired with professional dancer Karen Hauer.[12]
On 20 December 2014, the pair finished in fourth place.
Radio
On 24 December 2012, Wright joined the Heart radio network and presents the Club Classics every Friday and Saturday evening between 7 and 9pm.[13]
Other work
In June 2013, Wright was signed by online retail giant, Littlewoods, as its new face of menswear, which sees him style and model a capsule collection each season for Littlewoods' own-brand menswear line, Goodsouls. .[14]
Personal life
On 22 February 2009, Wright was best man at the wedding of the late reality star Jade Goody and featured briefly in the Sky Living TV series.
Wright was in a relationship with Lauren Goodger for 11 years from 2001 to 2012. They got engaged in 2012 but later split.
Since December 2012, Wright has been in a relationship with former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan.[15] It was confirmed on 9 September 2013 that the two were engaged.[16]
