Mark Treyger is an American politician from New York City. He is a member of the New York City Council, representing District 47.
Treyger's parents emigrated to the United States from Mogilev-Podolskiy, Ukraine.[1] He received his bachelor's degree and master's degree from Brooklyn College,[2] and taught history at New Utrecht High School and served as a delegate for the United Federation of Teachers.[3]
Treyger was elected to the City Council in the November 2013 elections.[4]
