Mark Matlak (born May 9, 1956) is an American football coach and former player.

Coaching career

Matlak is the current head football coach for the Allegheny Gators located in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He has held that position for eight seasons, since 2002. His coaching record at Allegheny is 51 wins and 40 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2010 season, this ranks him third at Allegheny in total wins and 13th at the school in winning percentage (.560). While coaching at New Hampshire, he was a coach for current Philadelphia Eagles head coach, Chip Kelly.[1] Matlak was also the head baseball coach at Allegheny from 1979 to 1982, tallying a mark of 3650.
