Mariya Shukshina (Russian:Мари́я Васи́льевна Шукшина́; b. March 27, 1967[1]) is a Russian actress. Her film credits include Burnt by the Sun 2, Bury Me Behind the Baseboard and Amerikanskaya doch. Her television credits include Dorogaya Masha Berezina and Vozmi menya s soboy .[2]
Shukshina was born in Moscow to the family of famous Russian writer, film director and actor Vasily Shukshin and Russian film actress Lidiya Fedoseyeva-Shukshina.[2]
In 2008 she received the honorary title of Meritorious Artist[2][3]
