Invercargill Marist Rugby Football Club is an amateur New Zealand rugby union team that plays in the ILT Southland Wide Premier Division. The team include many past and present Southland Stags including Dane Shelford, Jason Kawau, Iona Sipa, Hua Tamariki and Pilate Fili, Scott Eade, Ben Nally. Former players include Blair Stewart and Hoani MacDonald. They are currently 1st in the Invercargill Licensing Trust Southland Wide Premier Division. The local patron of the rugby club is Nathan "Birdman" Burgess.
