Mariposa is a Los Angeles County Metro Rail station on the Green Line. It is located on Nash Street and Mariposa Boulevard in El Segundo, California.[1] The original name for this station was Mariposa/Nash and it may still be used in some places.
The Toyota Sports Center, the practice facility for the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Sparks, is located outside the station. also located outside the station is Campus El Segundo Athletic Fields two recreational artificial grass fields.
When the Crenshaw/LAX Line construction is completed (expected in 2016 or 2019), this station will also be served by the Crenshaw Line.
