Marion Boulton Stroud

Marion Boulton Stroud is an American curator, author, and museum director. She is the founder and director of The Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1] She is commonly referred to as "Kippy".[2]

Career

Boulton Stroud founded The Fabric Workshop and Museum in 1977 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[3] The Museum was originally founded as an experimental print shop to host two-week artist residencies.[4] The Museum now hosts two-year residencies and has hosted artists such as Marina Abramovic, Lorna Simpson, and Bill Viola.[4]
