Mario Martos Serrano (born 14 November 1991) is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Almería B as a forward.

Club career

Born in Jaén, Andalusia, Martos finished his formation with Real Jaén, and made his senior debuts in the 2009–10 season with B-team, in the lower levels. He made his first team debust in the last matchdays of the 2011–12 season, in Segunda División B. On 13 July 2012 he renewed his link with the Andalusians for one season, rejecting an offer from Granada CF.[1] In his second season with the Whites, he scored 3 goals in 34 matches, achieving promotion from the play-offs (also starting in a 0–1 away loss against Atlético de Madrid, for the season's Copa del Rey).[2]

On 2 August 2013 Martos signed a new two-year deal with Jaén, rejecting offers from Getafe CF and Recreativo de Huelva.[3] On 16 October 2013 he made his professional debut, playing the last 29 minutes in a 2–0 home win over Deportivo de La Coruña, for the season's Copa del Rey.[4] He made his Segunda División debut on 16 November, playing the last 5 minutes in a 3–0 home win over Real Zaragoza.[5]

On 2 January 2014 Martos was loaned to UD Almería B, until June.[6] He returned to the Blancos in June, after appearing in 17 matches and scoring two goals.

On 30 January 2015 Martos rescinded his link with Jaén, and returned to Almería B hours later.[7]
