Honda is the 2012-2013 Japanese novice figure skating champion and the 2014-2015 novice silver medalist. She also won the silver medal at the Asian figure skating trophy 2013, and bronze in 2014. She placed fifth at the junior Japanese Figure Skating Championships for 2013-2014, and fourth in 2014-2015.

Personal Life

Honda is the third born of five children. Her older brother Taichi, and younger sisters Miyu and Sara are also figure skaters. Honda also has an older sister named Maho. Apart from being a figure skater, her sister Miyu is also a popular child actress in Japan. Honda currently attends Kansai University Middle School, which also contains the rink that she trains in.[1]


Career

Honda began skating at the age of two after following her older brother, Taichi, into figure skating.[2]
