Maria ("Marie") Johanna Philipsen-Braun (22 June 1911, in Rotterdam – 23 June 1982, in Gouda) was a Dutch swimmer. She won the gold medal in the women's 100 meter backstroke at the 1928 Summer Olympics.

Her mother, Ma Braun (1881 – 1956), was coach for the highly successful Dutch women's swimming team at the Olympics in 1928, 1932, 1936, 1948 and 1952.[1]

In 1980, she became a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
