Maribyrnong Road

Maribyrnong Road is a major road in northwestern Melbourne, Australia. Named after an Aboriginal word, the road forms the boundary between the suburbs of Moonee Ponds and Ascot Vale for its entire length. It runs almost exactly east-west across the City of Moonee Valley, from the Maribyrnong River to Mount Alexander Road, another major road that links the city centre with the airport.

Melbourne tram route 82 runs the length of the road from Ascot Vale Road west towards the Maribyrnong River, with the route 57 tram also sharing the tracks west from Union Road.
