Marian Saastad Ottesen

Marian Saastad Ottesen (born 1976 in Floro) is a Norwegian actress who has participated in several film, television and theater productions. Marian was born in Floro, but grew up in Skien. Here she attended theater school before she started her career.

She went out of the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1999. Ottesen also worked in several theater productions. At Oslo Nye Teater and Centralteatret she has had roles in Wild Angels, The avaricious, Rock Horror Show and West of Eden. She also has written and recorded the show "Happy Happy", which was played at the Café Stage at Oslo Nye Teater. At the National Theatre she has played Madame Bonacieux in The Three Musketeers and chamomile in When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town. Her las stage appearance in (2006) was in "When We Dead" - Reusing Henrik Ibsen When We Dead Awaken .

On film front, she has starred in films such Detector (2000) and Love Me Tomorrow (2005) and Gone with the Woman, which premiered in autumn 2007 . On television she is known from the series gnomes in the barn (2001), Lekestue (2002) and The Story of the forest and hi (2011)

She also currently plays the role of Sigrid Haugli, Frank "The Fixer" Giovanni's friend and former love interest in the Netflix series Lilyhammer.[1]
