Maria Eriksson (born 29 July 1982 in Leeds) is an English fashion and glamour model.

Early life

Maria Eriksson (a pseudonym) was born and raised near Leeds, England. Her family is English with some Austrian descent. Eriksson has a bachelor's degree and a Masters degree from Newcastle University and the University of York. Eriksson had no intention of becoming a model but after completing her undergraduate degree, worked for a short time in London as house model for top London designers Bellville Sassoon and Zandra Rhodes. She appeared on the site Simply Gorgeous while still a student. After completing her second degree, Eriksson returned to the world of full-time modelling and has been active since 2009.

Career

Eriksson is a three time Playboy Playmate which she has achieved on three separate continents. Miss Eriksson is also a multiple cover girl model; her most recent being Playboy Croatia (March 2015) and South Africa (April 2015) ^[1]

Miss Eriksson has appeared in numerous magazines including FHM in Singapore, People in Australia and has made several appearances in Playboy’s Special Editions.^[2] She has been in Hot Natural Nudes in 2010,^[3] Lingerie in August/September 2009^[4] and Lingerie again in February/March 2010.^[5]

She has appeared in both FHM Indonesia and FHM Malaysia^[6] in 2013 and 2011 which are part of the FHM magazine family originally starting in the UK.^[7]

Maxim en Español flew Eriksson to Mexico where she appeared in the magazine in a six-page spread in 2012. Maxim is another popular magazine brand which again, started in the UK, but has rapidly grown throughout the world.^[8]

Eriksson was the cover girl and Playboy Playmate in the Croatian edition of the magazine in February 2010.^[9] These numerous Playboy appearances led her to make the list of Playboy’s Top 100 Sexiest Women of 2010. However, the list is in alphabetical order, not numerical. March 2015 saw Maria Eriksson again as cover model for Playboy Croatia, along with an 8 page feature. ^{[10] [11]}

Eriksson also appears in the video for the song Cross My Heart by British rap artist Skepta.

She has made many TV appearances including interviews for RTL in Europe, and a show due to be aired in March 2011 for Pasella in South Africa. At 5’10” tall, Eriksson has also walked for the off schedule London Fashion Week in 2010 and has been house model for La Senza and La Perla lingerie brands. Eriksson’s legs appear on several designs of Jaradana tights and stockings sold throughout Europe, and she has also appeared on the cover of Croatia’s biggest selling newspaper Jutarnji, as well as Croatia’s biggest motor sport magazine Auto Klub.

Eriksson is the cover girl and has a seven-page spread in the February 2011 edition of FHM Indonesia in 2011. She appeared in the premier (April 2011) edition of South African Playboy.^[12][13] Further, she was the second Playmate (Miss June 2011) in Singapore's Playboy entitled VIP. She is also a columnist for the Indonesian edition of FHM.^[14]

In 2011 Eriksson moved to Hollywood where she has quickly established herself as a much in-demand hot property in the industry.^[15]

In August 2013, she achieved another Playboy centrefold when she featured in the South African edition of the magazine.^[16]
