Margaret Edwards (born 28 March 1939) [1] was an Olympic swimmer for Team GB at the 1956 Summer Olympics where she won a bronze medal in the women's 100 meter backstroke in the time of 1:13.1.[2] Also, at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, she won a silver medal in the women's 110 yard backstroke, and was a member of the British team which won a gold medal in the 4x100 yard medley.[3]
