Marcos Martín is a critically acclaimed, Eisner Award-winning Spanish comic book artist who has worked in American comics.[1][2] His notable works include Batgirl: Year One, Doctor Strange: The Oath, Breach, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Daredevil. He has also produced numerous covers for Marvel Comics and DC Comics.
In 2013, he founded Panel Syndicate[3][4] an online publisher of DRM-Free pay what you want webcomics in multiple languages, to publish his and Brian K. Vaughan's creator-owned comic The Private Eye. The Private Eye has received critical acclaim and media attention for Martin's art and for its role as one of the first DRM-Free, pay what you want comics by creators of Martin and Vaughan's caliber.[5][6] As of July 2013 eight issues have been published in English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, and French, with additional languages in development.[7]
