Marco Mattiacci (born 8 December 1970)[1] is the former team principal of the Ferrari Formula One team having left on the 24th November 2014 after only seven months in charge.

Career

Born in Rome, Mattiacci studied economics at the University La Sapienza. From 1989 to 1999 he worked for Jaguar Cars in the United Kingdom. Since 1999 Mattiacci has worked at Ferrari. After several engagements in America, Asia and Europe, in 2010 he was the CEO of Ferrari North America. In 2012 he was awarded for his work with the Automotive Executive of the Year Award.

On April 14, 2014 Mattiacci took over the position of team principal of the Ferrari Formula One team from Stefano Domenicali.[2]

On 24th November, 2014 it was announced that Mattiacci would be replaced by Maurizio Arrivabene.[3]
