Marcelo Grohe (born 13 January 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Grêmio and the Brazilian national team

Career

Born in Campo Bom, began his career at Grêmio, where he arrived in 2000 to serve on the under-13s team. Within five years, was rising ever faster category, until he was promoted to first team squad with 18 years old, to be the third goalkeeper in the dispute of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, in 2005, which did not act in any game, despite becoming the second goalkeeper during the season.[1]

On 18 January 2006 he made his professional debut playing 90 minutes in a 2-1 away win against São Luiz for the Campeonato Gaúcho.[2]
