Created and nurtured well-loved characters of Ms. Sylvia and Mr. Scarn who navigate the big-money world of office supplies. Hertz developed the concept of having Mr. Scarn rid the office of all workers who had known the pleasures of Ms. Sylvia. He instituted a Jan-San team to fire these love rival, calling upon his past soap opera experience for dramatic effect.
Hertz was recognized for his ability to nurture talent such as the wait staff at Tilted Kilt and the Northwest Suburban Trailer Team. This led to his promotion to Product Evangelist. In addition to raising the profile of pork-based products, he traveled to offices in Oklahoma and Arkansas to recruit Southern hubs for his underground train. Acknowledging that he would not be where he is today without the beloved Mr. Scarn, Hertz has embraced the role of Evangelist. He has inspired his team of paid followers by throwing lavish buffets with whole pigs roasted in his backyard pit. Always one to walk on the wild side, Hertz makes sure the seasoning is muy caliente, a nod to his days translating The Young and the Restless into Spanish for the Latin markets. His Telemundo days have served him well.
