María Herrera Muñoz (born 26 August 1996 in Toledo) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer. Spanish rider Maria Herrera, born in Oropesa (Toledo), was the first female competitor to win a race in the FIM CEV Repsol series. She has first made guest appearances in the Moto3 World Championship as a wildcard at the Spanish rounds with the Junior Estrella Galicia 0,0 team, over the 2013 and 2014 seasons. In 2015 she embarks on a full season Grand Prix debut campaign, riding alongside compatriot Isaac Viñales in the Husqvarna Factory Laglisse team.

Maria Herrera was announced by Team Calvo for two Moto3 seasons. She's a young woman from the La Mancha region with a wealth of experience under her belt and no less than three victories in the Spanish championship, where last year she was fighting for the title right up to the last race. From the 2015 season on, she’ll be competing on a Husqvarna bike of Team Calvo in the Moto3 world championship.[1]
