Manuel Lanzini (born 15 February 1993) is an Argentine footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Al Jazira Club in the UAE Arabian Gulf League.
Career
Lanzini made his professional debut as a 17-year old on August 8, 2010, in a 1-0 home win over Tigre,[1] playing 45 minutes. Lanzini played his second match against Club Atlético Independiente, and assisted Rogelio Funes Mori in his second goal. He played 63 minutes before being replaced by Mauro Díaz. River eventually won the Match 3-2. Fluminense have incorporated the youngster on a loan for the 2011–2012 season. Lanzini scored his debut goal as professional on August 31, 2011, in a Fluminense 2-1 victory over São Paulo, on the Estádio do Morumbi. He returned from his loan in Brazil in the summer of 2012 and took the number 10 shirt. He scored his first goal for River Plate against Belgrano, in the first game of the season and celebrated by kissing the badge.
