Mandaue City College under DR. TERESA H. INOT is created by virtue of the Mandaue City Ordinance 324-A and amended by 419. A government institution that gives "Quality Education for the Poor".

The public is totally aware of the legality of MCC’s creation by the City Government of Mandaue and the noble purpose of the local government to provide almost free college education constituents of Mandaue City and its neighboring cities and town.


History

The school was established by the Local Government of Mandaue through Ordinance No. 10-2005-324A, enacted by the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod on September 27, 2005.

Objectives

1. To provide a general education that will assist each student to develop his/her potentials as a human being,enhance the quality of citizen participation in the basic functions of society, and promote in each student a sense of national identity, cultural consciousness, moral integrity and spiritual vigor;

2. To train each student in the required skills for national development, and to initiate and foster the appropriate and relevant knowledge, attitudes, skills and values to enable him/her to become a useful, productive and gainfully employed member of society;

3. To develop and maintain the integrity of the professions or disciplines that will provide leadership for the nation; and

4. To advance the frontiers of knowledge through research work, and apply the technology gained for improving the quality of human life and responding effectively to changing societal needs and conditions.
