Manbij District

Manbij District (Arabic: منبج Manbiǧ) is a district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to Aleppo Governorate, Syria. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 408,143. Its administrative centre is the city of Manbij.
Sub-districts
The district of Manbij is divided into five sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):
- Manbij Nahiyah (ناحية منبج): population 202,976.[1]
- Abu Qilqil Nahiyah (ناحية أبو قلقل): population 47,109.[2]
- Al-Khafsah Nahiyah (ناحية خفسة): population 92,368.[3]
- Maskanah Nahiyah (ناحية مسكنة): population 64,829.[4]
- Abu Kahf Nahiyah (ناحية أبو كهف) - was part of Manbij sub-district until 2009
