Manahel Thabet is an economist, scientist,[4] and consultant of Yemeni descent. At the age of 25, she earned her first PhD in Financial Engineering magna cum laude, making her the youngest person and the only Arab ever to attain such distinction.[2][5] She has an IQ of over 168 which puts her in the top 0.1 percent of people in the world and is the winner of numerous awards for her work including a United Nations humanitarian award.[2][6] Thabet is also the president of Smart Tips Consultants, a consultancy firm she founded in 2008.[1][7]
Career
In 2008, Thabet earned her PhD in Financial Engineering which she earned magna cum laude.[3] She was 25 at the time, making her the youngest person in the world and the only Arab to receive such distinction.[3] Her thesis is said to have contributed to finance research studies including interest rate behavior.[8] She went on to earn a second PhD in 2012, this time with a major in quantum mathematics.[3]
Thabet previously traded in the stock market but withdrew her investments in 2008 after believing there would be a financial crisis.[1] She attributes not experiencing a financial loss in the market to relying on financial engineering as opposed to economics. In 2008, she founded the consultancy firm Smart Tips Consultants which specialized in helping those who suffered from the Financial crisis of 2007–08.[1]
In 2012, Thabet developed a formula that measures distance in space without the use of light.[2] The formula was considered ground breaking in the field of quantum mathematics and is 350 pages of numbers, calculations, and equations.[2]

Awards and recognition
Thabet has won numerous awards throughout her career. In the year 2000 she attained the "Excellence of Global International Environmental and Humanitarian Award" given for the outstanding work in undertaking environmental and humanitarian missions in Africa while working with the United Nations.[2] The same year, she became the youngest ever winner of the Woman of the Year Award presented by the Women's Federation for World Peace.[2]
In December 2010, Thabet was given the L'Officiel Inspirational Woman of the Year Award in Dubai as recognition of her efforts to empower women worldwide.[9][10][11] Thabet won numerous awards in 2012 including receiving an Academic Excellence Award at the Hamdan Bin Rashid awards and being the winner of the HOT 100 Award for most influential people.[7]
Thabet was chosen to be part of the World Genius Directory when she received the Genius of the Year Award for 2013, representing Asia.[12][13] She was also named one of the most influential 100 women in the Arab world by CEO Magazine in 2013 and was also ranked with the most influential 500 Arabs in the world by Arabian Business.[14]
February 20, 2014 marked the beginning of Synergy University Dubai Campus's flagship Program, the MBA Women's Leadership. On this occasion the management of the University also announced that Dr Manahel Thabet will be the Patron of the MBA Women's Leadership Program.
Personal life
Thabet is an active member of Mensa International,[5] Young Arab Leaders, the International Association of Financial Engineers and Dubai Astronomy Group.[11] She is also a the Vice President of World Intelligence Network WIN,[2] President of the high IQ Society IQuestion[15] and a member of Many world IQ societies like QIQ, GRIQ, CIVIQ and HELLIQ High IQ Societies.
