Mammillaria duwei is a member of the genus Mammillaria in the family Cactaceae. Mammillaria duwei is cactus endemic to Mexico. Plants have dark green skin almost completely obscured by delicate white spines. Flowers are yellow and appear at the onset of Summer. Many specimens will cluster over time while others will remain solitary.

Distribution

Mammillaria duwei is native to Mexico ranging from Guanajuato and Queretaro.[1]

Conservation status

Mammillaria duwei is currently classified as Endangered due to the destruction of its habitat according the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species[2]
