Mallory Schaffer (born 1991) is an American soccer midfielder.

Early life

Schaffer attended Hampton High School in Allison Park, Pennsylvania where she graduated as the valedictorian of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society. She holds the record for the most career goals at Hampton at 70. She was a three-time All-State honoree and three-time All-Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League. In 2007 and 2008, she was named to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review All-Area Team and was a Regional All-American. She was also a two-time Pittsburgh Post Gazette Player of the Year.[1]

College of William and Mary

Schaffer attended College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia majoring in pre-med. She finished her collegiate career with 41 career goals and 96 career points, ranking sixth and seventh, respectively, all-time in the school's history.[2]

On January 18, 2013, Schaffer was selected in the second round (15th overall pick) of the NWSL Draft by Seattle Reign FC.[3][4][5]
