The Mall of Qatar is a shopping center scheduled to open in 2015 in Al Rayyan near Doha, Qatar.
The Mall of Qatar project will be adjacent to Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, a host stadium in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The mall is located close to Education City and the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). A dedicated station on the Doha Metro is planned to be integrated into the mall, as part of Doha’s new transportation system.[2][3][4]
Spread over a building area which is the equivalent size of 50 football pitches, Mall of Qatar will have 400 shops including a major hypermarket, five leading department stores, over 20 international restaurants and an indoor streetscape with double height flagship stores from across the globe.[5][6]
