The Malecón is a 12-block, mile-long esplanade in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.[1][2][3]

Sculptures

The walkway features numerous sculptures, including works by Ramiz Barquet (La nostalgia; English: "Nostalgia"),[4] Sergio Bustamante (En busca de la razón; English: "In Search of Reason"),[5] Alejandro Colunga (La rotonda del Mar; English: "Rotunda of the Sea"),[4][6] Jonás Gutiérrez (El sutil comepiedras), Mathis Lidice (Obras como los milenios), Manuel Lepe (The Fish Sellers' Mosaic), Adrián Reynoso (Naturaleza como madre), Pedro Tello (Origen y destino) and Rafael Zamarripa (El caballito de mar).[1][7]
