The Malacca River (Malay: Sungai Melaka) which flows through the middle of Malacca Town in the Malaysian state of Malacca, was a vital trade route during the heyday of Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century.
Geography
The river spans over a distance of around 10 km.[1]
