Maksims Širokovs (born September 30, 1990) is a Latvian professional ice hockey player, who plays defence. Currently playing for Red Ice of the NLB. He is younger brother of Aleksejs Širokovs.
Playing career
Širokovs started his profesional career with Liepājas Metalurgs of Latvian Hockey Higher League. He has represented national team in various tournamnets. He made his debute in 2015 world championship on a loss against Canada[1]
